Young Initiators Workshop at Diversitat in Geelong

If you want to make a change in your community and learn about leadership, fill in the form below to attend the Diversitat Geelong Young Initiators workshop.

What is Young Initiators?

The Young Initiators Project, run by the Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY), helps empower young people to make a difference in their communities.

It uses experiential activities, group discussions and self-reflection to explore leadership, diversity, values, empathy and different ideas about community.

If you’re aged 15-25, can attend the two-day workshop and are willing to try something new, you should sign up to attend the Diversitat Geelong workshop. You don’t need any previous experience to come to a workshop, connect with others and be empowered.

We also offer free transportation support, so please let us know if you need help getting to a workshop.

All participants in the Young Initiators Project will be able to connect through a social media campaign, and will be invited to a state-wide unconference in April 2020.

Participants in the Diversitat workshop will be eligible to apply for a paid volunteer role in a Young Initiators Youth-Led Project in Geelong (limited spaces available).
